How simple can a complicated medical case be?
Nowadays, medicine has become an industry with turnovers of billions and billions worldwide. Still, it does not always have the best solution to offer, and in many cases, the provided answers come at a high cost or with a lot of side effects.
This video narrates a fantastic story of a young boy from New Zealand that had a severe problem, and he was not able to consume anything without throwing it out almost directly. This pathological condition needs an urgent solution, and his parents have not spared any cost to find the answer to the problem of their beloved son.
Unfortunately, modern-day science fails of even coming close to offering a solution to the curious case of this young boy.
Finally, the relief came from an unexpected corner when his parents contacted an Iranian herbalist who prescribed a remedy that seemed to be even more straightforward than this complicated case seemed to be. The base of the cure is mint which was supposed to change the "cold nature" of this young boys body. In Persian traditional medicine, men use a lot the contrast of cold and warm in the sense as it is done in Chinese medicine with terms Yin and Yang.
Even though the boy recovered amazingly fast the "problems" just had started for this fantastic herbalist as the local authorities prohibited him from the further practice of medicine stating that he was not authorized to treat such a pathological condition as the boy seemed to have.
Maybe in this upside modern world no good deeds seems to go unpunished but the true moral can be deducted from the following ayat:
وَإِذْ يَمْكُرُ بِكَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِيُثْبِتُوكَ أَوْ يَقْتُلُوكَ أَوْ يُخْرِجُوكَ ۚ وَيَمْكُرُونَ وَيَمْكُرُ اللَّهُ ۖ وَاللَّهُ خَيْرُ الْمَاكِرِينَ - 8:30
And when those who disbelieved plotted against you to restrain you or kill you or evict you. But they plan, and Allah plans. And Allah is the best of planners. 8:30
The parents of the young boy did not have any financial problems, and they were very thankful for what this man had meant to them and their child. To do something in return, they did not only invite the herbalist. They helped him to stay in their country. Still, they also founded an academy where the herbalist could teach traditional medicine to others and cultivate medicinal plants with this purpose.
