The story of the French Shia Mosque - Le Moulinet.

This page contains a short interview with the Frenchman Abdul Majid who, originally being a Christian, lost his faith years ago till such a degree that he even considered himself to be an atheist for a certain period of time till he found his way into Islam. Originally he came in touch with Sunni Islam but soon he discovered that the line of Ahlul-Bayt was where he found his complete answers.

Now many years later, together with the local community that has followed his inspiring example and just as he converted to Islam,  they have founded Le Moulinet mosque, being the first Shia mosque of the area.

This beautiful initiative has been an inspiring story to many as this small village of Conde-Les-Herpy, the village where the community resides, small half an hour from the mosque, has received countless visitors from all over the world during the past years.

In our own case, we received the video below from one of the brothers in Iran and not knowing more than what we could figure out from the video we decided to take the initiative and hit the road to find out more. The adventure was definitely worth it and soon we are going back to visit the gathering at the mosque as we have further details now about the agenda and the events in the mosque.
